Visitor Questions

What kind of church is Christ Centered Church?

Although we don’t like “labeling”, we realize that most people want to know “what kind of church we are”. Simply put, we are an independent, non-denominational, Pentecostal, charismatic, multiracial, fellowship of Christian believers seeking to be God’s people on the earth

What type of music do you sing?

Our praise and worship team provides a passionate, contemporary upbeat style of music. We blend our music with a balance of worship and meditative songs to help people connect with God in an intimate way. We are a contemporary style church with a diversity of musical styles, Most of all we strive for our music to be a reflection of our love for God.

Whatever the accompaniment; inspired singing is our priority.  Any given service may include singing, hand-clapping gospel, contemporary praise and reverent worshipful choruses.  You will find us lifting our hands, clapping, dancing, shouting or quietly “soaking” in God’s presence. It’s all about glorifying God in whatever way that honors Him. We see worship as the door that enters God’s presence.
What can I expect when I visit?

A friendly, casual atmosphere with lots of smiling faces. We make a special effort to make every person who visits feel comfortable and welcome.  In order to know who our guests are, we will ask you to raise your hand and complete a Visitor’s Card. You are also invited to a time of fellowship or meet our pastors at the end of the service. None of this is mandatory. Above all, we want our guests to relax and find us to be a loving, caring people who at some time in the past, were also first-timers!

What about my children?

We believe that our children are the next generation of leaders in the Church as well as society.  For this reason, we place a high priority on the children's ministry at Christ Centered Church.  It is our desire to provide a safe and loving environment that is fun and facilitates growth for children of all ages.

Children are always welcome in adult worship. As a matter of fact, we believe it is very important for our families to worship together.  We do the praise and worship together with the kids before they leave for the children service.

What times are your services?

On Sundays we have services between 4pm and 6pm.  On Wednesdays we have Home Cells from 8.00pm to 9.30pm. Friday is prayer meeting from 8pm to 9.30 pm.

How do I get connected?

At Christ Centered Church, we value authentic relationships.  We want to be people who enjoy life together.  Therefore, we try to provide multiple ways for individuals to get connected within the community.  You will find that fellowship events as well as small groups (Home Cells) are a major part of our culture.  There are also many opportunities to serve in the church.
